Stages
- Freezing
- Frozen
- Thawing (can last 12–24 months)
Our Work-up
- Clinical exam (limited passive ROM in ≥ 2 planes)
- Ultrasound to rule out rotator cuff tear
Treatment at PVI
- Image-guided glenohumeral capsule hydrodilatation (“distension arthrography”)
- Suprascapular nerve block or pulsed RFA for pain control
- Coordinated physiotherapy to restore range early
- Shoulder Artery Embolization
